The Operation and Purpose of Bus Doors in Lifts
These doors protect the cabin / car entrance and travel up and down with the lift. During travel, these doors ensure that the passengers are fully enclosed / contained within the cabin and as such, one touch (latching) buttons are permissible. When the cabin arrives at the desired floor, these Bus Doors fold away to one or both sides of the cabin before allowing the swing doors on the landings to open.
