Understanding Momentary / Hold to Run
The term ‘Momentary / Hold to Run’ means that you have to keep your finger on a directional push button for the lift to move from one landing to the next. If you take your finger off of the button mid-travel, the lift will stop. When travelling on the lift, you will be presented with this button type for every application where the user is not fully enclosed on all four sides (i.e. when you do not have a cabin with inner car doors).
