Lifts to suit every school
Whether it be a preschool, grammar school, secondary school, special educational needs school or academy, we’re confident that we can design and install lifts that not only fit within your space – but extend equality of movement too.
For example, if any of your students or staff have complex needs (i.e. learning difficulties, sensory or mobility difficulties), we can install one of our specialist school lifts to make it easier for them to access all areas on the school grounds.
If there is a short flight of steps – either inside or outside your building – a platform lift will allow wheelchair users and anyone with reduced mobility to travel up and down whilst remaining seated or unaided.
Alternatively, if your school has a multi-storey block or stairs serving various floors, we highly recommend installing a vertical lift. Though these tend to have a greater footprint than platform lifts, they make it easier for pupils and teaching staff to attend classes – ensuring no one is discriminated against for having a disability.
Our service and goods lifts are also immensely popular amongst schools across the country. Rather than transporting people, these are often used to move books for the library, food to and from the canteen and heavy apparatus in the science lab – ensuring maximum safety and efficiency.
