The term Headroom refers to the vertical height between the top landing served by the lift (FFL) and the underside of the ceiling (or other obstruction such as rafters etc). Different Vertical Platform lifts require different amounts of Headroom. Therefore, the headroom can sometimes dictate which lifts can or cannot be used.
